I recently turned one of the bedrooms in my house into my "Sewing Only" room and I love it! I have material that I just could not figure out what I wanted to do with, but now that I can see it hanging up, I can see why I purchased it. I even have some material that I forgot even existed! (That's what happens when your space doesn't grow as fast as your collection!) I enjoy sewing because I get to carry or wear something that no one else has (and could not get!), because I get to form my own idea of what something should look like and because I can have my own style! It is so much fun creating and even more fun seeing someone taking an interest in something I made.
The picture of the handbag above is a beautiful cotton/linen material. The cotton rope is used for the handle and also pulls the bag closed. There is a magnet closure on the inside and it is fully lined with a cotton/polyester lining. This bag is currently for sale in my Etsy shop. Check it out, I am busy working, taking pics and posting so check back often to see what's new!
While you're online, check out Mocha Child Greetings blog. They are hosting a Mother's Day Giveaway and I am participating. You have until April 25, to enter your name. No purchase necessary.

Working up to Posting and April Giveaway
Sometimes I get so busy with sewing that I forget that I need to post in order to sell! Well, I have been taking lots of pictures and can't wait to show you all that I have been working on. I will begin posting items soon, so be on the lookout. I am also participating in a Mother's Day Giveaway that Mocha Child Greetings is hosting. It starts April 1 and will run through April 25. Be on the look out for more information and a link to enter.
I guess that's it for now. I will post more tomorrow and get ready for my new items!
